Clark Howes were delighted to receive not one, but two awards on 23rd April at the annual Bicester Business Awards, hosted by Bicester Vision.
With more than eighty entries overall and thirty making the short-list for the ten award categories, the business accounting firm were awarded both the OCVC Business Hub Training and Development Award and the Chiltern Railways Small Business of the Year Award at the black tie gala last week at Bicester Hotel, Golf and Spa.
The OCVC Business Hub Training and Development Award was judged by Adrian Shooter and Mike Jennings who were looking for companies and organisations that could show positive commitments to on-going training for staff whilst providing stimulating and supportive workplaces for the continued development of employees.
The Chiltern Railways Small Business of the Year Award for businesses with fewer than 25 employees was judged by Lesley Donoghue from Oxford and Cherwell Valley College and Sarah Barefield from British Bakels. The judges were looking for evidence of business growth, future vision, market understanding, the ability to respond to change and the management’s ability to continue to drive the business forward.
Rodger French, Senior Partner at Clark Howes says:
“We are thrilled to have been awarded these two awards at such a respected event in the area. I am immensely proud of the team we have at Clark Howes and their continued hard work that has helped the business go from strength to strength. I live and work in Bicester, so for the firm to be recognised like this means a lot. These awards are about putting something back and sharing the achievement with the team.”
