Mini specialises in providing need-specific operational and management assistance to our European and International clients. Mini has been UK and International Controller for various quoted companies predominantly in the IT industry. An MBA and Chartered Management Accountant with her high-level experience she assists in implementing strategic and operational solutions to companies establishing a UK or European presence and has the ability to provide short-term management consultancy services or assistance with the recruitment of senior finance managers or controllers.

Chris is responsible for the smooth running of all the Clark Howes offices. She joined us after many years in a senior position in a local practice. With her broad knowledge of small firms’ accounting and business needs she is well placed to manage our large portfolio of owner-managed businesses in our Bicester office in addition to covering personal and corporate tax work. Chris also has overall responsibility for the small business teams throughout all our offices.

Edward Porter Edward Porter Head of Audit and Assurance

Edward is responsible for the management and development of this business segment, M & A and corporate services. A Chartered Accountant he began his career in the City working extensively with international groups and listed plc’s. He was responsible for advising on International Accounting Standards, compliance with UK and US GAAP and assisting companies with the listing process. He then spent two years in a senior position with the largest independent practice in the Thames Valley with a client portfolio ranging from owner-managed businesses to international groups. He also has experience of corporate finance in sales and acquisitions.

Diane joined us from the commercial world having worked in a variety of financial roles in different businesses over a number of years. She began her career in Barclays Bank and now brings this considerable expertise and knowledge into her role as department head of our outsourcing team. Diane is responsible for all international sales and development activities and works closely with both local and overseas owner/managed clients. This role also involves marketing, customer relations and the development of this significant business area.

Juliet Gillett Juliet Gillett SME Manager

With a diverse role in the company, Juliet works closely with our established SME clients as well as taking care of the specialist requirements of our Audit and International clients such as preparing Audit packs, UK and International Tax issues and the list goes on. Juliet works across all of the Clark Howes Group’s office locations often visiting clients at their premises.

Juliet graduated with a BA Hons in psychology and continued her studies with Clark Howes gaining her ACCA in 2007 going on to become a partner of the Group 2011.

Jon has recently qualified as a certified chartered accountant and has worked in practice for the past 6 years since leaving Portsmouth University in 2005.

He specialises in taking over the accounting function for companies, stream lining their processes and helping to provide accurate and informative management information to help owners/shareholders make informed decisions.

Before attending University Jon was a professional footballer playing for Oxford United but had to retire due to injury back in 2002.

Ann has a vast knowledge of corporate tax, personal tax and year ends.
