Sponsorship of the Thames Valley Police Children's Charity

Thames Valley Police made a surprise and welcome visit to local accountants Clark Howes in Buckingham last week to thank them for sponsoring a challenging and adventurous charity event.

Officers from Thames Valley Roads Policing department successfully scaled Ben Nevis, Snowden and Scafell Pike in the 24 hours Three Peaks Challenge raising money for the Taplow Traffic Charity Trust.

Clark Howes look after the tax and accounting needs of a number of local Police Officers and felt it important to assist the group raise money to help children who have been bereaved or had a close relative seriously injured as a result of road accidents in the Thames Valley area.

One of the members undertaking the challenge, Sgt Phil Hanham, is seen with the Clark Howes team to offer a personal voice of thanks for the help provided. "Couldn't have done it without you" Phil said, going on to confirm that the group have raised over £5,000 so far.
