The Team

Rodger French

Rodger's route into practice differs to the norm. A Certified Accountant, Rodger qualified whilst with Unisys PLC before moving on to become UK Financial Director for one of Europe's largest quoted IT distributors. He then took a UK based independent networking business through a buy out before taking it into US ownership. In 1998, after four years with Misys PLC, he exchanged corporate life to join Clark Howes and help develop our business-to-business and outsourcing teams.

Buffy Jackson

A Chartered Accountant who gained her practical experience in a medium-sized practice in South West England. After qualifying she lectured in accounting and management before returning to practice with Clark Howes. A dynamic character, being both an experienced musician and marathon runner, Buffy is our Audit and Training Partner, managing a range of clients within our medium-sized portfolio as well as those with specialist or unique requirements.

Mini de Silva

Mini specialises in providing need-specific operational and management assistance to European and International clients. Mini has been UK and International Controller for various quoted company's predominantly in the IT industry; an MBA and Chartered Management Accountant, her high-level experience allows us to implement strategic and operational solutions to company's establishing a UK or European presence or needing specific solutions to one-off problems.

Chris Munro

Chris is our small business client manager. She joined us after many years experience in a senior position at her previous practice and has gained enormous experience in small firms' accounting and business needs also covering personal and corporate tax work. Chris is responsible for the entire small business and individual client-base and manages their needs throughout all our offices.
 

The Support Teams

We believe it’s vital to provide the necessary experienced, qualified and specialist expertise to every client whatever their size and, where required, a direct relationship to suit your personal needs. The support teams are all part-qualified accountants, Accounts Technicians or have a breadth of business and accounts experience. Together they assist in solving your business, accounting, tax or payroll problems as they are well used to dealing with “real” business problems. We encourage all staff to continue formal education in specialist and new technical areas as well as providing local youngsters with work experience placements.
