Step 1 – Business Structure

Step 2 – Taxes
• Your business structure will determine whether you pay income tax or corporation tax.
• You may also have to register for VAT if your sales are above the HMRC set limits.
• To employ staff or are a limited company you need a payroll and account for PAYE.
Step 3 – Banking
You need a business account which has attendant costs. We can establish a bank account for you and often negotiate charge-free periods, so talk to us before you see a bank.
