What we do
Why bother trying to understand the intricacies of an increasingly complex tax system, when you can get expert advice instead?
It is said that Albert Einstein needed help filling in his tax return. We can't vouch for how difficult tax returns were 60-odd years ago but one thing is for certain, working out what tax you have to pay and what reliefs you can claim is never easy. That's as true for individuals as it is for companies, multinationals and trusts.
We can help you with all areas of tax, including:
- Corporation tax
- Income tax
- National insurance
- Stamp Duty
- Capital Gains Tax
- Inheritance Tax
- Construction Industry Scheme (CIS)
We cover all the above as well as personal tax returns and self-assessments for directors.
Our knowledge of tax reliefs, such as Research & Development (R&D) Tax Credits, Patent Box and the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), to name just a few, ensures you receive all the reliefs you are entitled too.
We can also help you put in place tax planning strategies, designed to ensure you comply with your tax requirements while at the same time minimise your tax.
Fee Protection Assurance
HMRC has the power to go through your business records. Every year thousands of companies are chosen by them at random for investigation.
We offer a tax investigation option to cover our fees in the event of having an enquiry or investigation. This service is backed up by an insurance policy for which we are the policyholder. We can make claims under the policy for our professional fees up to a maximum of £100,000 in any one claim.
