From 8th November, Companies need to report PSC changes to Companies House as and when they happen. Changes must be reported using forms PSC01 to PSC09 (or the equivalent forms for LLPs, LLPSC01 to LLPSC09). As well as reporting changes to Companies House, companies are still required to maintain their Register of People with Significant Control. A company must notify Companies House of a change to its PSC register within 14 days. This is a reduction from the 28 days that were allowed for annual returns.

Companies must ensure that their records at Companies House are always up to date and contain current details of various statutory matters. Companies must 'check and confirm' that the information held at a given due date is accurate. If this information is returned late or not returned at all, the company, director(s) and secretary (if appointed) may be prosecuted.
